ooc - out of character - this is a term to refer to any information or actions that your character would have no plausible realistic way to know or even has access to. also used to differentiate things bentween active roleplay and things outside the game.
ic - In character - this term is used to describe information, actions, and anything else applicable that happens inside the game in active roleplay
meta (gaming) - Meta gaming is used to describe the action of a player utilizing information gathered out of character for in character purposes. this is against the rules. Example: Taking information you heard or read in the discord from someones chat and using it in game.
foic - find out in character - slang for when players tell other players to find things out in game to prevent meta gaming.
emote - term for actions players have their character do via text description.
/yell- the widest tile range possible*
/say - the average tile range (IE speaking outside or in a large room). Good for large group RP.
/low - a smaller tile range (IE speaking to only a few people in a room while others are in an adjacent room). Good for when multiple players are roleplaying to prevent chatbox clutter.
/whisper - the smallest tile range possible (IE sitting right next to someone). Good for private conversations.
/l - A seperate chat tab is used for OOC coordination -
