Background (1987-1989): Aiden was not a particularly good kid at the time. He had a small group of 'friends' (Marvin, Levi, Kris, and Jamie) that he would commonly hangout with to escape the shouting matches between his parents. The bunch of them often got into trouble with the Local Sheriff, And sometimes even State Patrol. At the time, He wanted to be and was fascinated by various racecar drivers such as Dale Earnhardt, Ayrton Senna, and Richard Petty. Just to name a few. And a few movies he watched such as Speed Zone! (1989), Corvette Summer (1978), Grand Theft Auto (1977), Cannonball Run II (1984), And of course, Bullitt (1968) made him want to drive. So, Aiden and his friends over the years would steal multiple cars. Normally ditched in the woods, or a field. Or, Wrecked. Unlike a few of his friends, Aiden was never caught. He always boosted cars at 12AM~2AM at the dead of night. Normally on Fridays or Saturdays. And he only stole cars he knew were fast, He did his research before-hand. Which in the end, turned out to be a good skill. When he wasn't being a juvenile delinquent, he played video games. Or he played around on his fathers Apple Macintosh.
(Late 1989-1993): At around 15, Aiden found himself at a crossroads, pushed to the edge by an explosive altercation with his father that left him damn near dead. Acting on pure impulse, he hit the road, thumbing rides or boosting cars and weaving through the highways until Rosewood, Kentucky, unfurled before him. It wasn't a planned destination, just where he ended up after all of the hitchhiking routes and artful deceit. In this unsuspecting town, far from his turbulent past, Aiden's trajectory took an unexpected turn. One night, drawn by the rhythmic pulse of jazz emanating from a dimly lit establishment, he wandered into a clandestine meeting. Unbeknownst to him, the proprietor was no ordinary business owner but a well-established figure in the world of organized crime. He was told to take a seat, so, he did. That night, he inadvertently became entangled in unforeseen consequences, offering a helping hand in a matter that was neither black nor white. This by-chance encounter bound him to a favor owed, and the Don recognized potential—an Ace in the young man's hand. Aiden's skill behind the wheel, paired with an unwavering resolve, caught the Don's eye. Seizing the opportunity, the Don presented Aiden with the stage, providing the means to dive into a life of high-stakes escapades and clandestine operations. What began as a twist of fate evolved into a calculated collaboration, with the Don facilitating Aiden's entry into the world he desired. The Don, recognizing Aiden's longing for the romanticized era of 1920s gangsters, saw an opportunity to turn an impulsive escapee into an indispensable asset. Aiden, willingly dealing himself into a dangerous game, embraced his newfound life as a key player in the shadows. The Don, holding the cards close to his chest, reveled in the success of assisting Aiden in becoming a crucial piece of his intricate underworld puzzle.
(Late 1993): In a strategic blend of covert and overt, the Don, leveraging his extensive town connections, seamlessly secured Aiden a prominent role at Markson & Co, an influential I.T. firm in Rosewood. Tasked with the singular purpose of maintaining a low profile and avoiding government scrutiny, Aiden played the part of the unassuming "I.T. guy." Appreciative of the perks, including a stylish apartment conveniently located above the firm, Aiden skillfully navigated the realms of technology while embracing the dualities of his clandestine existence. The Don's calculated maneuvers not only granted Aiden legitimacy but also intertwined his fate further with Rosewood's intricate underworld, where connections ran deep and shadows held secrets. This job got Aiden a few connections, and a knack for tech.
