Morton Walker is a man who started off his journey in Rosewood, in the middle of a brutal winter he scavenged what he could going door to door, house to house living a very poor survivalist life, he thought he would be stuck there forever however he decided one day to finally use his radio. In doing so, his journey of who he would become in this world truly began.
Morton would soon find himself taken in by a group that would go by the name Split River Homestead, in which he would soon begin to take the form of who he really was, Morton with his life beforehand as a combat medic who had served in Iraq, may have made him seem like he would have a tough personality however he always chose to be caring and kind whenever he could. There at the Homestead, he would meet many different people, the likes of Maxine, Beth, Vic, Mason, Tina, Daisy, Anna, and also Dar.
While there Morton would always try to help whenever he could, and always try to be as honest as he could. He had hope that living at the Homestead would provide for a permanent home, one where Morton could live a long and peaceful life. However, one day, one led to another and tragedy struck the Split River Homestead changing not only the place but the people living there.
Morton as a result of all it would transform once again into someone else, he would soon lose his best friend Mason, who had been a cop before the Knox Event. Morton in a tragic fashion would end up putting his friend down after revealing that he had been bitten.
But that day left a mark that would never leave Morton, a message from his best friend and a promise to be held by Morton.
