Lacey Karr was always an odd child, born in eastern Louisville, she had a relatively normal home life with a mother and father both deceased, she would never understand social norms or what to do and not to do… She would often laugh at someone crying or find it funny and good natured to throw water buckets or old shoes at traffic. In conversations she always trails off, speaking to herself sometimes or asking questions that make no sense...
Despite her flaws socially, Lacey is a genius… Well not actually, but she was always a quick learner, when Lacey wasn’t out causing mayhem she was reading books and studying in her home or school, reading everything she found semi-interesting.
Even with her studies, Lacey found herself with particular prowess in handy work, especially in the metalworking field, and thus she would learn and learn quick. With her father’s help and the occasional class or two, she learned how to weld, then how to work with wood and by the age of 17, learn how to fix cars.
This prospered into a fruitful future for her, she had no need to enter some grand college and become a lawyer or doctor. Lacey decided to begin working at an auto-shop by the age of 20… Here her life would remain all the same, the pay was good, and only looking better with her speedy promotion to store manager and raises galore from her supervisors…
Well it was all fine till the dead started to roam… Now Lacey finds herself lost, even with her highly desired skill set she can’t seem to hold up a long and proper conversation…
