Born in a very small town, she grew up to be quite sociable since there was not much else for a kid to do in the area. Despite being plucked from what she was familiar with at a young age and moved to Louisville, she kept the easygoing chatty attitude. She started to go by Anna after just so people had an easier name to remember.

After losing a potential free ride for gymnastics to a torn ACL, she spent the remainder of her school year trying to find what path to follow now, but never really quite finding it.

Although her injury put a damper on her attitude for a while, she eventually returned to her normal cheery self realizing there was still plenty of time ahead of her. After high school she worked retail jobs for the time being until she was offered a dancing job by a friend. Said friend did not mention what kind of dancing or where it'd be until the day of.

After getting some much needed practice and seeing the money earned, while also happening to fill an exotic niche, she stayed while changing to part time for her retail job in an attempt to live a sort of double life. Going by Yuli while dancing and Anna when she wasn't, attempting to keep anyone from learning about it that didn't already know, which was very few.
