Rochelle Ross was a mother who started her story alongside her husband and 14 year old son.
Rochelle displayed resilience and a mother’s determination to protect her family. She faced the horrors of the outbreak with the people she loved. As the family’s story unfolded, Rochelle’s character evolved from a mother in a suburban home to a survivor navigating a world overrun by the undead.They went from their suburban home, to their destroyed grandparent's house, to a dangerous warehouse, to a run down trailer park, and then to being on the run forever.
The loss of her son Rosscoe, the struggles with Gabe, and the eventual isolation took a toll on Rochelle. Her diary entries reflected a mix of fear, love, sorrow, and desperation (i am not copy and pasting all of the diary). Despite the hardships, she showed moments of strength and a fierce dedication to her family’s survival.
As her life progressed, Rochelle faced the harsh realities of this new world, forming and losing connections, encountering raiders, and ultimately finding herself alone. She met a man name Jackson and another guy named Shalom - Shalom abandoned them and Jackson radioed her saying he had been attacked by bandits and got bit fighting them off. Then, she rejoined with one of her friends, Serene, who she died within only a few days of being with her. She was devastated. A man came to the gun store, and shots were fired mindlessly when he saw a single zombie, bringing infected all to the area. Rochelle ran and shot for her life, eventually making it deep into the forest and sitting down under a tree. Then, Rochelle died.
